Two numbers anywhere
Two numbers that share hidden cells can be compared wherever they are: corner to corner, or with a cell between them.
Take two numbers that touch some of the same hidden cells. The shared cells can hold no more mines than either number allows. If one number needs more mines than its other cells can hold, or the other has none left for its own cells, the cells outside the shared ones are decided.
How it works
Two numbers that are not side by side share some hidden cells (yellow).
Your turn
Each board is a real position from a game. Tap or click to open; right-click, long-press or switch on Flag to place a flag. If you are not sure, take a hint: the first one only shows where to look.
Which hidden cells can you be sure of?
How the exercises were chosen
A computer checked every board: in what you see, no number on its own proves anything, and the only pairs of numbers that do are not side by side.
