Master Minesweeper: 30×24, 160 mines

Bigger than any classic size and the densest board on the site: 720 cells and 160 mines, about 22%. A game is long, and the board rarely fits a phone screen whole: scroll it, or make the cells smaller with the − button under the board.

With mines this dense the long patterns 1-2-1 and 1-2-2-1 come up often. Take your time: no board here needs a guess, so a lost game always had a safe move somewhere.

How to play Minesweeper

Mines are hidden under the cells of the board. The goal is to open every cell without a mine. Each number shows how many mines are in the eight cells around it, and from these numbers you can tell exactly where a mine is and where it is safe. In detail: rules and techniques with examples →
